HubSpot is a powerful CRM platform for engaging with your prospects and customers. HubSpot provides list tool that allows users to segment contacts by several filters so you can focus on the right audience.
Contact lists can be used for:
- Sending personalized Marketing Emails
- Enrolling contacts into workflows
- Setup Sales sequences
- Create opt-out contacts
- Ad audience creation
HubSpot lists are of two types.
- Active lists – Contacts get added or removed from a list whenever the list filters are matched or not matched.
- Static lists – As the name says, these lists do not get updated after a list is created.
To create lists in HubSpot, Click on Contacts in the header navigation menu and click on “Lists”. After that, click on “Create list” located on the top-right side of the page.
Later, give the list a name and select the list on which it is based.
Click “Next” and add filters to create a segmented list.
You can add multiple filters and “Add filter groups” using AND/OR.
After adding the filters, click on “Save changes” to see the list created.
